Hello, my name is Alison Sianna, but you can call me Miss Sianna. And today I am going to teach you how to multiply multiplication . But before we get to that, I have a problem, but I need your help to fix I have a friend here, his name's Bob. Oh, you can't really see it. There we go.
And Bob, he has five friends that he loves very much. In order to show how much he loves his friends, he wants to give each of them two candy bars, just five friends. And he wants to give them each two candy bars to show them how much he loves them. But he doesn't know how many candy bars he needs to buy to make sure that he has enough for all of his friends. So we are gonna help him out. I'm gonna draw this out because that's how I can help figure it out the best.
So this is Bob and here are his five friends. So I'm going to draw two candy bars for each of his friends and then we're gonna count to see how many candy bars Bob needs to buy. So this friend gets one and two candy bars there. This friend gets one and two. 1 2, 1 2, 1 2. Okay. Now all of his friends have two candy bars, but now we're gonna count to see how many there are. So how about you count with me?
Okay, we got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10. So that means that Bob needs to buy 10 candy bars in order to make sure that all of his friends get the amount of candy bars he get the amount of camera he wants to give them. So we solved the problem and believed or not we solved it with multiplication. We multiply five friends by two candy bars each to figure out the total number of candies needed, which is 10. And there you go. He did it. We have done multiplication and that is it. Thank you very much.
